Self Aligning Ball Bearings FAQS


AThe self-aligning roller bearing has double row rollers, the outer ring has one common spherical raceway, and the inner ring has two raceways and is inclined to an angle with respect to the bearing axis. This ingenious structure makes it have the function of self-aligning, so it is not easy to be influenced by the angle between the shaft and the bearing housing on the error or the bending of the shaft. It is suitable for the occasion where the angle error is caused by the installation error or the bending of the shaft. The bearing can bear not only the radial load, but also the axial load of two-way action.


A1. When the bearing runs to a certain period (or maintenance period), remove all the bearings; 2. Soak the bearings in diesel or kerosene for cleaning. If there are technical conditions, it is better to open the sealing cover for cleaning. 3. Air dry the cleaning oil after cleaning, and check the appearance for damage; 4. Use a wooden bar (preferably hollow tube) with a diameter of about 150 mm and equal inner diameter of angular contact ball bearing, and fix a bearing at one end; 5. While rotating the bearing quickly by hand, put the other end of the wooden bar (wooden tube) on the ear or the audio amplifier microphone to listen to the bearing rotation noise; 6. After fixing the bearing, move the wooden bar horizontally to check whether the bearing is worn or loose; 7. Fag bearings with serious looseness, excessive rotating noise and serious defects shall be eliminated and replaced with the same model; 8. Take a bucket and melt a proper amount of lubricating grease (high-quality yellow dry oil) with mild fire (do not overheat), and immerse the tested bearing in the bucket until no bubble overflows. Take out the bearing before the grease cools, and the amount of residual grease is small. Take out the angular contact ball bearing after the grease is cooled, and there is a lot of residual grease. Determine the amount of grease residue as required. 9. Clean the grease outside the bearing with soft cloth or toilet paper and assemble the fag bearing on the pulley as it is, and the maintenance work will be finished.

In general, especially in the dimension range of GB / t307.1-94 rolling bearing centripetal bearing tolerance, the outer ring and inner assembly of tapered roller bearing are 100% interchangeable. The angle of the outer ring and the diameter of the outer raceway have been standardized as the same as the overall dimension. It is not allowed to change during design and manufacturing. So that the outer ring and inner assembly of tapered roller bearing can be interchanged in the world. Tapered roller bearings are mainly used to bear the combined radial and axial loads which are mainly radial loads. Compared with the angular contact ball bearing, the bearing capacity is large and the limit speed is low. Tapered roller bearing can bear axial load in one direction and limit axial displacement of shaft or shell in one direction.
